As a buyer, you will need to bring along anyone whose name you would like to have on the new title. You will also need to have proof of photo identification for each person that will be listed as an owner of the vehicle. Your current driver’s license would be most desired as proof of identification. if you will be registering your vehicle, you will also need to bring along with your a CURRENT Pennsylvania insurance identification card. We MUST have a copy of this in order to give you temporary registration. If you are unable to locate your current insurance card, you will have your insurance agent fax it to us BEFORE you come in.

In addition to sales tax on the purchase price of your vehicle, the following State fees may apply:

  • Encumbrance Fee (required IF you finance your vehicle): $33.00
  • Registration Fee (required IF you are receiving a new plate): Amount Varies
